Good article that one with great pictures and information. Looks to wear nicely too. Personally though uneasily adjusted mesh bracelets are annoying in summer have to make them looser and then they are too lose for me in winter.

Now this is one I am looking forward to, they have really dared to be different. Hat off.

Mike France described the new C1 Moonglow at the GTG.

Something about a smoked glass crystal with a clear aperture to see the moom through.

The internal bezel is a date ring.

Seems amazing.

Wow!
Do we think the previous Moonphase will be discontinued and maybe discounted?

Agree - it looks amazing. Was any indication of size given?

Looks very interesting. I'm keen to see more details. The key with these sorts of watches is whether the details in the execution are correct and hang together.

I’m assuming, based on little more than the teaser photo, that it’s likely to be in the same case as the existing C1 moonphase and hence 40.5mm?

It also looks like it’s fully lumed, including hands, and that the dial branding is etched onto the glass dial. No clue to how the date works, possibly a ‘reverse pointer date’ where the date wheels rotates to a pointer?

What I’d like to know is will it replace the existing moonphase or be an additional special/limited edition? and obviously the price...

I thought I’d convinced myself that I didn’t need a moonphase and then CW go and do this to me

It's the same C1 case and movement, but the date is a pointer (ie a hand that takes a month to rotate fully) rather than a date window. The bezel is fixed.

It may not replace the Moonphase as this is positioned as a different model: the Moonglow.

I learned the above from Mike France at the recent GTG. He thought the pricing would be around £1395 but wasn't 100% sure.

I thought, from what Mike France said that the date will be the 'reverse pointer date'.
