Six pieces have been sold in the secondary market for about 50% of original. You will just have to be aware.

Whilst my initial reaction was "ouch", there are plenty of other watches out there that lose 50% on the second hand market!

For comparison, the original Grand Prix DBR1 (500 pieces Sept. 2010) sold at £550/$685 and has seen 23 resold at an average of $643.

The initial C70 DBR1 COSC ((300 pieces Sept. 2011) sold at £575/$790 and has seen only 2 resold at $645 average.

You know how much your comment will cost me ???

The '5' back case is for the automatic model ?
All 3 models are quartz.
The 5 case back is part of an original Aston race car body panel.
And don't forget to get the cufflinks too!

You could say there is actually 4 versions :) I have one of the first C70 DBR1 released an it had a missing marker. Could have had it changed but decided to keep it. You never know it could become PRICELESS

I felt the same so was really pleased to be able to buy one back last year.

We don't actually know how many of these slipped through, but we do know the initial run of the GP DBR1 was 50 pieces. The misprint was corrected after that.

That's one of the reasons I like my C70 Brooklands COSC so much, it has the missing "87" marker too.

You are correct Ferg. It was the same situation as the DBR1.
