Maybe not 3/4 of a tonne, but pretty heavy.
Looks like they knew what they were after though.

How can you own a jewelry company and not have insurance on your jewelry stock? I understand they thought they were secure in the business park, but that’s just a bad business risk.

It also seems like there would have been plenty of time for police to respond, right? Eleven minutes just trying to load the safe in the getaway car.

I see from your address that you don't live in England. Most times the only reason to phone the Police is to get a crime number. Which you have no use for if not insured.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

Sometimes it’s easy to forget just how different our countries are.

The police increasingly merit little respect in the UK.

I couldn't believe it was 750kg either, so searched for safes, a 900mm x 650 x 600 safe is indeed 750kg.
I wonder why they didn't have a van ?

750kg? Doubtful, but still bloody heavy.
300kg security door? Not a chance. The picture clearly shows a wood frame with a full glass panel. In other words, not secure at all.
Not bolting your safe to the structure? Almost as stupid as not insuring a half millions pounds worth of jewellery.
