Anyone else enjoying the build up for this mission? Launch at 1am UK time. Exciting stuff, especially as it's 4 civilians with a small amount of training!
Lots of media outlets drawing comparison with Bezos and Branson's space tourism, which is laughable... some perspective of altitudes:
SR-71 spy plane - 24km
Baumgartner's jump - 39km
Branson & crew - 86km
Karman line (start of space) - 100km
Bezos - 107km
ISS orbit - 408km
Hubble telescope orbit - 540km
Inspiration4 - 575km
It'll be an incredible view of earth for those 4 people!

Re: Inspiration4
It’s quite an exciting and amazing effort. I’ve been interested in space and rockets since my earliest days. I have a bit of a time advantage being in the eastern zone of the US. Wishing them well! I’ll be watching.
