That’s outstanding service from the NHS! I shudder to think what my insurer would provide.

Wishing a speedy recovery and nothing but the best for Hamish and family!

Wow! What a brave little boy..
Thanks for sharing the details - I had not heard of this condition until you mentioned it in a thread a while back when we were comparing notes as to what we would swap our watches for (~ and we were wishing for the health of our kids). I can only imagine what you guys are going through.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with you for a full recovery and more normal life ahead.
regards

I think this story has reached its conclusion this evening. No cables, drains, or tubes left and no sticky pads to be seen. Running about like a mad hatter and confirmed to be going home in the morning. You wouldn't have a clue what he's dealt with by looking at this photo, I'm very proud of this little boy.

Thank you for sharing your story. Over the years I've had a couple of patients with Craniosynostosis diagnoses, but as a paramedic I don't have the luxury of following these patients afterwards, so this is the first time I've seen the results of the corrective surgery.
All the best with Hamish' continuing recovery.
