Great news that wee Hamish is getting home so quickly. He looks really well in that latest photo of him and you would never know he had just been through a major operation.

We're 3 months on and I think this thread desersves a decent conclusion. The wee guy has recovered well and has continued to develop as we was before his surgery. The only currently lasting effect is that he doesn't trust anyone he doesn't know, as if he expects them to stick him with a needle or something. Having his feet measured for shoes is a challenge I'm sure this will soften in time.
He's got his 3 month check up at the hospital tomorrow but we know there aren't any issues, physically or behavioral. At 22 months old he's as "normal" as they come and is currently living his best life
