Well if this was the “random disclosure thread” I would admit that my mother in law once bought me a Kyle calendar for Christmas!Thegreyman wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 11:46 am Watches aren't really very important at all so I'm sure most of us would give them up for the health and happiness of our family.....or Kyle Minogue!

I enjoyed a late night espresso in a coffee house off the Kings Road Chelsea with Kyle. Ok, not exactly sitting with her at the same table but she did smile a me. Does that count?

Is this Kylie's brother we're referring to?

I'd give up all my watches (and every other posession come to that) to be able to go back in time and convince someone to throw out that out-of-date pangolin and bat soup.

Re: I’d give up my watches for....
Rather than start a new thread I thought I’d resurrect this one. Just over 3 years ago we bought a 300 year old farm building to ‘do up’. Everything has been going well up until the last few weeks when we’ve hit a bit of a ‘snag’! So, I’m actually gonna be giving up my watches to fund sorting it out. Restoring the building using traditional materials has been very satisfying and the building deserves it. Looking at several thousand pounds sat in a box just doesn’t make sense now so, in answer to the question - I’d give up my watches to create our dream home.
Not wanting to turn this into a sales post but if anyone is interested in anything I have, with the exception of the BBR and Geckota mecha quartz, let me know - it’s gonna take me a while to photograph and write descriptions for sales corner but they’ll be there soon.

Watches for dream house? I think that’s a fair trade off. Consider starting a new thread with pics to document the transformation & restoration. I’d love to follow that journey.TigerChris wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 2:32 pm Rather than start a new thread I thought I’d resurrect this one. Either a competent owner of Everton Football Club or a competent person in charge of the England and Wales Cricket Board. Ideally both, but I'm not that much of a dreamer.
And yes, yes, family health and happiness etc. and so forth.
But mostly the football and cricket.
