My Current View

Post by jkbarnes »

On Cape Cod for a week visiting my in-laws. My wife was born and raised here, and my in-laws are still in the same home my wife grew up in. This has very much become one of my happy places - perfect for unwinding after a long school year.

So, as the thread title says, this is my current view, and I’m quite pleased with it. In fact, it’s just about perfect.

Please share your “current view” if it makes you happy and helps the stress of the world melt away.

This is my view when I am on the boat, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. Weather isn't always this good though.

That is an outstanding view. I think I’d like that view even in the rain.

On the coast in the North West where I grew up, or anywhere by the sea or water for that matter, I can feel the ions taking effect and I start to feel happier.

Definitely not, hence the borrowed image. Left my phone and watch in the glovebox. In and out in 25 minutes so no real withdrawal symptoms.

This is my view right now. We’ve borrowed a friends holiday caravan on the North Yorkshire coast for a long weekend. This may well look idyllic, but that’s the North Sea, it’s only 14 degrees with a pretty strong wind. Best get inside again for a warm before I’m kicked out to man the BBQ.

A very cute and somewhat familiar sight, except your squirrels are black. Did they spend too long in the forest?

Snapped a squirrel pic myself a couple of days ago. Just a few feet from our window…

That's how they are here, very vocal and not at all tame. No grey variety as in most of the UK.
