Milestone day here!

Post by jkbarnes »

Big day here in the Stanley house. My youngest just graduated from high school! I’ll be an empty nester in a few short months.

I couldn’t be more proud of him, especially given the challenges of his senior year and Covid.

Seems to happen a lot since the upgrade. I now have to carry out a minor edit of each pic to get it to post correctly

I posted from a phone. Assumed it was a mobil issue. I was going to follow up from a computer, but you beat me to it.

All I did was to copy your picture to my iPad, use the photo editor to rotate it, re-attach it to your post and delete your original attachment. I have deleted your photo from my iPad, of course.

Congratulations! I imagine facing the additional adversity due to covid will help give a leg up to a lot of the seniors graduating this year. Looking at the silver lining.

Congrats to the young fellow and to you and the family for surviving it! No small thing.
I still remember my daughter's day and she is 36 this week.

Congratulations to you and your son on his big day.

Re the empty nest, it’s tough for a parent when the kids move out, although counterbalanced by pride and the excitement we feel for them moving forward to a new chapter.
