Living and working in the Sydney basin - umm, our winters are not so different to a UK summer except for the length of the days.
So I have a watch tan line even in winter, sunny 22 deg C today in "winter". Sorry folks, especially my Scottish friends, but that's just how it is. :)
Next time it is 49 deg C (120F) and you are shivering, you can feel sorry for me.

I have tan lines from my watch and my Teva sandals. Been wearing watches since 1977 and summer sandals since 1990.

But…but…

Some suncream might accidentally transfer itself to the strap. The odd grain of sand might get between the links of the bracelet.

Or…God forbid…it might get WET!

No, far too dangerous.

Shouldn’t be a problem if it’s a tool watch.
