Working from Home or in the Office?
What's the weather going to be like?
Long slevve or short sleeve?
Bright and colourful, country gent or just conservative?
...
I’ve gone the completely opposite direction with my wardrobe, reducing it to a core of simple basics in neutral colors. The color and/or flair come from the socks (although my sock collection is on the more reserved side, compared to yours!) and my shoes. I’m in the process of spicing up my shoes with laces from Whiskers laces.

That's the same link I linked to!

Just ordered three pairs to take advantage of a Father's Day 20% off offer. I'll admit though, even with the laces, I tend to be reserved.

We’ve covered socks, shirts, and to a lesser extent shoes. Is it time to add one more S to the equation?

Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 7:57 am Although not as colourful as most, today’s shirt is a special one. I bought this in Lanzarote in 2003. I soon realised that it was going to be an all-time favourite, and now it only gets trotted out for high days and holidays. It has been on every holiday with me since 2003, and normally I wear it on the second night of the holiday. A sort of ritual. “I have arrived!”

It is incredibly cool and comfortable, the nicest cotton I have ever worn since the Sea Island Cotton shirts I inherited from my dad. I wore those out many years ago.

Another relatively plain one today, by Blanc du Nil. They have an unusual business model, in that you can only buy their clothes in their own stores. According to their website they don’t sell online. Everything is white cotton and you only find the shops in holiday resorts. They are not cheap, but I picked up a couple of shirts and two pairs of shorts in a shop sale in Rhodes a year or two back. They usually make an appearance in the second week of our holiday, when the town has had a chance to develop a bit!

The link I put it in should have gone to the Dress Laces (as opposed to their Home page)
Anyway, they all look great

Shirt wise this'd be as funky as I get for leisure or previously for work. This was a pig to match a bowtie to. Now, bowties......
