Show us your socks or fancy shirts!

Post by StrapMeister »

Inspired by a picture from Kansas City Milkman (and his fancy rainbow socks in this thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56908), I've decided to start a new thread just for fun. So I'll kick things off...

Snap. I started a thread on this as well. I'll delete my post and use this one. Today's shirt is a a blue fume Oldham Athletic football shirt, ( sterile, no sponsor). I liked this so much I also got the other colours as well. A black one with gold trim, and a red and white stripe. Oldham are now my second team. :D

I'm a big fan of Corgi socks, but have never thought to photograph my feet!
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

Grew up just outside Oldham and as a school boy went to Boundary Park quite a few times with my mates. I’m not actually an Oldham fan but still look out for their results and always see many Facebook old school friends lamenting their current form.

Things have moved on since the late 80s when I used to go and believe the away stand now has a roof! Boundary Park is unofficially the coldest ground in the football league and ex manager Joe Royle nicknamed it Ice Station Zebra.
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Well, just checking in and delighted to be tagged on the topic. Ironically, today is the first day of shorts and bare feet so I have nothing to show - I’ll spare you the ‘bare foot of the day’ shot but will contribute to Jafo’s sports shirts in due course.

Otherwise, some fancy contributions so far!

Is that the polite way of asking if he got dressed in the dark? :D :D :D
