Although I do like the PR as a complication it is far from necessary on an automatic. On a manual I find it most helpful.
I also have 2 Citizen Ec0-Drive Solar watches, where it comes in handy, to know when to either wear them or recharge.

+1
On these long power reserve watches it's even more useful than on a relatively short lived mechanical. I also have a Seiko Kinetic with a 1 month power reserve where the PR indicator lets you easily stay on top of recharge requirement; wearing is the only way unless you have the rare electromagnetic charger - I experimented with toothbrush charger configurations but couldn't cut it.... With a Springdrive it's also really useful because the winding requirement is so small compared to a conventional auto - if you see the indicator dip a little, wear for a couple of hours until back to full charge

I personally prefer PR indicators for auto & manual winding watches having at least 2 days PR.

Similar to others, as I wear mine in a rotation, power reserve is interesting but not a top priority for me

I don’t own a watch with PR indicator and to be honest this is mainly because I find they unbalance the dial, especially as most are not circular.
I particularly detest the ones they put on grand Seiko spring drives.
More important for me is a grab and go quartz, that will run for years, I currently have 2: my c60 300 chrono and a Certina chronometer
