I quite interested in this, in particular font types. My preference is for clean modern sans serif fonts, my favourite being Verdana for documents (how sad is that...)
There are a lot of interesting fonts used on watches. I particularly like what Oris use for the numerals on their BCPD.
I just love the rounded 4. I did try to find out what font they used for this but fonts are a minefield. There are literally thousands of them and the nearest I could find were a number of Gothic/Deco fonts that were similar.
I also like open numerals in the manner that Panerai use.

I appreciate when watch brands, really any designers, make some deliberate choices for typefaces and fonts for their products. One that lately appeals is Oak & Oscar. The stylized 7 digit was picked because that is how the brand founder writes his sevens. Other aspects of his choices appeal to me as well. I find Deco appeals to me in many situations. I am, though, open to other styles as suit the overall look.
