Jura watches: A very inaccessible watch shop on a Scottish island. Whiskey is often offered with expensive purchases in lieu of a winder.

My last two, I promise. They just crept in to my head, I can't let them go...

Logonogo: A very contentious piece of watch branding, poor font, positioning etc.

Seiko 5: Japanese Motown tribute band.

These almost 400 posts have made me roar, pat on the back to all who took part.

After all the references to "movements", I'll never look at the back of a watch quite the same again.

Horological polygamy (or polyandry, according to your proclivities) - The culture of cohabitation with a range of wrist-borne timepieces; a relatively new phenomenon for many people.

Seraglio - The box or other storage facility used for members of the polygamous or polyandrous family (q.v.) when not required for duty.

Honeymoon - The period following the introduction of a new member to the seraglio (q.v.), usually at least a week in my experience, when you cannot bear to be parted from it.

Document Check - coincident with Honeymoon (q.v.), the period when other members of the seraglio begin to glance nervously at their passports, boxes and papers, to see that everything is in order for a possible departure.

All the above quite accurately describes current goings-on at AVO Towers! :problem:
