I had mine yesterday, and no problems at all. Actually surprisingly quiet at the centre. It was the Astra Zeneca ** and ny arm has been a bit sore, but other than that - just a headache, Despite the 'urban myths', no advice or mention regarding consumption of alcohol. In fact, there is a small amount of alcohol in the vaccine.
** My wife had the Pfizer vaccine at the same centre three weeks ago, so pot luck on which you get?
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

Just had mine. I had to drive a bit to get to the centre, but it was quiet so they let me in early. All very quick.

I’m getting close to being able to get mine. Right now they’re in the 50+ range here, and I’m 48. I think they are opening it up to everyone next.

All you youngsters get your jab!

We don’t get our first one until Wednesday.

Had to time ours so that the second wasn’t due when we were away on holiday.

The vaccine rollout seems to be the one thing that has gone well in the UK.

Being an NHS employee I was able to get my second dose of the Pfizer earlier this week. I was warned the second does is reported to make you feel worse than the first but suffered no ill effects. Had a sore arm again but it wasn’t as bad as the first time.

My wife is volunteering at a vaccine centre and received her 2nd Pfizer jab recently. She too felt no ill effects other than a sore arm for about 48 hours.

Mild side effects noticeable today. Felt OK last night and slept well.

I'm not feeling ill as such, just washed out and listless. Quiet day at home, lots of hot drinks with lemon. The arm is a little sore but not too bad, and I've a slight headache, but again not too bad.

I received my NHS letter of invitation last Saturday, the 6th Mar. After several fruitless attempts to actually book a centre that was a mere 17 miles away, I managed to get an appointment for Sun the 21st at 6:30 pm! A second slot for the 9th June was also obtained.

On Wed 10th Mar I received a txt from my local GP’s surgery inviting me to book in for a jab with them. It was quick and easy to get a suitable slot and I was stabbed yesterday, the 13th. In and out within 10 mins. They’ll be in touch for round two nearer the time.

Subsequently cancelled the slots at the “big” centre.

I had the Vauxhall Astra vaccine (at least that’s what I think she said?) Rather funnily, after completing the process, she told me which vaccine I’d had and asked if that was okay? :silent:

Being as she was talking to me, the needle was in & out before I realised. I’ve had more painfully administered flue jabs!

Slight bruised feeling at the injection site, with it becoming quite sore for about an hour, 8hrs in. Slight headache hovering early evening too.

Today, just a bruised feeling in the arm.

Mrs T’Man has had the NHS letter so we’re just awaiting the GP’s invite now.👍

Rollout in my area seems to be going well. I'm booked for next Saturday at the grand Old age of 51!
