I thought at the start for the first couple of possessions, KC were catching Brady in the pocket.
He then seemed to start dropping back a little further, which gave him more time. There's probably more to it than that though.
Mahomes just didn't seem to trust his team - just tried to do it all himself. Not a good sign.
Easily Brady's most comfortable Superbowl win.

My son picked out Gronk at 18/1 to get the first TD, but didn't have a wager. Shame.

Only just got up! Had a fair few too many watching the game!!! As Guy, I wasn't overly bothered who won. I was just hoping for a good game.

Mahomes definitely didnt have his best game. His "turf toe" may or may not have impacted it, and their offensive line injury list may or may not have impacted it. They just imploded!!!

I watched the Buccs defense absolutely dominate and control that game from start to end. As I played linebacker for a few years when there were English teams, I always watch a good defense closely, and that was a masterclass.

Cant wait for next season to finally make the pilgrimage to go see my beloved Rams in our new house!!!!
WHOS HOUSE....?!!!!!!!!

In NFL watch news, the first ever female referee at a Super Bowl final was wearing a Timex Ironman  ( this news brought to you by Hodinkee)

And she very quickly spotted a ball had grounded just before being caught.

In off season news, Zenith reaches for the stars with signing of Super Bowl winning * quarterback Aaron Rodgers

*not this year's Super Bowl, although he was classified MVP (Most Valuable Player) in the season.

Pur-lease indeed.

Tom Brady has been in the Super Bowl winning team that many times he virtually own the Vince Lombardi Trophy or at least has shares in it.

If he wants to . . . . . .. . (you know what) he's entitled to do it. :D :D

Not surprised given team form, but a big impact JJ Watt leaving the Texans. I wonder where he'll end up?

It's not even a permanent handed down trophy. There's a new one each year. Only costs about $10K, I read. (You could have a Daytona instead of the trophy. Amazing comparison that). A ring is probably worth more than the trophy.

That woman. Poor lady. She seems to think there’s a single, solitary soul who could care less about her and her daddy. Seems fake it’s so ridiculous. I think she’s just looking for attention.

So, wonder if Brady can do it again this season? What outsider team is going to do well this year - certainly not the Jags....

I think if Brady and company stay healthy you cannot count out a solid run deep into the playoffs at least. He certainly is loaded with some top line receivers. However, I do have concerns about that defense after watching last night.

My own Patriots, while seemingly improved, are moving toward a significant improvement over last year. We will see what the rookie quarterback is capable of. Playoffs....making them will be a successful season.

Buccs for a repeat probably depends on Gronk sticking around. Is he suited this year?

Also may help if Mahomes decides he doesn't have to do it all.

I know one swallow does not make a summer, but last night / this morning's game was closer than might have been expected, based on last year's performance, with the Cowboys putting up a strong performance.

A noticeable difference though was in the accuracy of passes between Brady and Prescott.

From here, roll on Sunday evening and 'The Red Zone'. :tv:

Another easy win for Brady last night, I see.

This is why he wins more than he loses
