Not a Hamilton fan boy....but Horner needs to read the entry ticket...motor racing is dangerous...so pleased Max is ok....you can have F1 racing or 50+ F1 parade laps :?

Racing incident in my opinion, both drivers didn't want to back out of it.

Hamilton sending a message to an extent stating I've had enough of Max pushing his way through in some recent races.

Great race, Horner needs some pie to go with that bitter. Even better Lewis coming back to win it after a terrible penalty decision (see the 2018 race and Grosjean vs Sainz, same corner - racing incident).

Max needs to learn you don't win a race on the first lap.

Well, I don't often take an interest but those last few laps were quite something. I was flicking between that and the T20 where England were thrashing Pakistan.

Add in a rookie winning the Open and it was quite an afternoon of sport!

Yet more racism on social media. Hopefully more people suffer the consequences of their stupidity going forward.

I find Martin Brundle to be the most insightful and knowledgeable F1 commentator/analyst. His view it was a racing incident and unfair penalty. I think it’s sour grapes from Red Bull given the number of aggressive moves that MV has made in his career. Glad to hear he’s ok of course.

racing incident but penalty fairly consistent with some of the others handed out this season.
Good racing at start and end of the race.

IMO the penalty was uncalled for - that was a racing incident - 2 drivers going at it and neither was going to back out.
It was bound to happen sooner or later!

As mentioned above - Martin Brundle was spot on.

I think that Horner's comments were unnecessary, and, although I'm glad that Max is ok, quite frankly his comments after the race were unnecessary as well - it's racing - get real!
Bad losers!

As for the online abuse/racism - disgusting - fine them heavily and ban them from social media.

What a drive from Lewis to win it.

I seem to be the only one who thinks the stewards got that call completely right. I think Lewis was probably more to blame than Verstappen, but neither party were anything close to innocent (Lewis off the apex and Max turning in knowing Lewis was there).

Up until this point Max has got away from these types of incidents as the other driver has backed out, so in the run I hope it makes him have to think before he tries it (I don’t want him to stop, but I want there to be some unpredictability of whether he pulls it off)

I only saw the the coverage this morning... Like others racing incident and Max needs to learn he can't always get his own way.

Good on Lewis for the drive afterwards to go on and win... Showing that contrary to Horner's bleating that you can't overtake like that at copse... Er you can...

Great that Max is OK though that's was a hell of a hit and shows how stro g these cars are nowadays.

As for the racism, just terrible - Full stop, many aspects of modern 'society' seem to have taken a massive step backwards lately.
