I think I heard DH say that it would cost about €15m to repay the ticket holders as a ball park figure.

Hulk is in the running for the second Alfa seat, although it's an outside chance.

More aggression from Max has at least been penalised. Damon was sailing a bit close to the wind saying he thought it was intentional, but you've got to wonder if Max, in the heat of the moment, thought both scoring no points was better than scoring fewer than Lewis.

Max was wound up prior to the collision and in my opinion caused the crash at turn 1. It's always the other drivers fault with Max, but unless he falls out of favour with Dr Marko, nothing will change how he races with Hamilton or anyone else.

Sadly the above overshadowed McLarens success and SKY spent far too much time on the crash and not on Riccardo and Norris.

Yep, brilliant result for Mclaren. A little gutted a few milliseconds on Friday could have meant it was Lando winning, but what a result for Ricciardo in a difficult driving year. The summer break definitely helped him reset!

More points for Williams too!

It should have been a 3 race ban, not a 3 grid price penalty. Someone will die soon if this isn't stamped out.

If Verstappen is taking a new engine, does that mean the grid penalty counted for nothing?. If so, he shouldn't be able to do that.

That’s a really good point! I hadn’t thought of that when I saw the news this morning.

There's a suggestion that, as he's only 4th on the grid, Lewis will take a new engine and also go to the back of the grid.

Sublime lap from Norris, fantastic tyre warm up strategy by Russell. Tomorrow's race has quite a few subplots to enjoy...

I think lando could easily have won the last race but held back to give Riccardo a bit of a boost. Hopefully will get a decent result tomorrow too

While I’d have preferred a different outcome, one can’t dispute that that was an exciting ending to watch!

I'm absolutely gutted for Lando, but what a nailbiting finish to the race! You couldn't call the top 10 with 8 laps to go. Mega drive by both Lewis and Max, this is one hell of a championship.

I began watching F1 this season after not watching any auto racing for many years. I have found a new passion after watching several of this seasons races. Someone posted a link to Kym Illman's Youtube Channel a few months ago, which is what got me interested in watching the races. I am fascinated by the variety of technical decisions that go into making the podium. I never appreciated how much of a team event it actually is. Everything from decisions regarding the number and timing of pit stops, when to change tires, the teams partner driver assisting etc. This mornings race was a nail biter and I was sure Lando was going to win until it started raining during the last few laps and his teams tire choice lost him the race. Max coming from last place to second was amazing as well.

I am definitely hooked and will be glued to the tv for the remainder of the season.
