Great shots, although I wouldn't want to have a side impact in that white Z3. :problem:

The cars are all fully caged up and have door bars just in case of side impacts. The class that the Z3 is in is a non contact formula...supposedly

Non contact. No such thing in any form of motorsport.
Still looks vulnerable to me.

I love F1, I really enjoy visiting Monaco.

Omg, the Monaco GP is the most boring snooze fest of a motorsport event ever. Absolutely zero chance of overtaking....what is the point??

Hamilton should have finished 5th and ended up 7th due to very poor strategy from Mercedes, an awful day for them with Bottas having to retire from 2nd after his wheel nut couldn’t be removed during his pitstop.

^^^^ Did you watch the Formula E race from Monaco, two weeks ago, Patrick?

Real, exciting race WITH overtaking.

Guy, no I didn't. I'm sure you are right however it's Formula 1 I have been a fan of for many years. I'll maybe get into Formula E at some point but for now I'm really only interested in F1. The majority of circuits are fine, but Monaco :schlafen:

That was another boring procession around the streets of Monte Carlo. These modern cars are just too big to make any exciting racing around tight circuits with no medium-high speed sweeping corners and wide braking zones.

It was a real shame Leclerc couldn't start the race. A bit of Italian pride not wanting to take the grid drop cost him dearly. At least they won Eurovision?

Mercedes have got their annual bogey race out of the way now. I expect Hamilton to come back on full attack in the next few rounds. He was very fortunate the gap to Max is only 4 points.

Go Lando! Fantastic to see that brilliant livery brought home to a podium spot by possibly the most likeable driver on the grid.

You've got to wonder if Alonso would have been better off going to do Indy....

I was hoping they wouldn't restart to give Perez the win but soooo pleased they did restart as that was a much better result especially with the two tyre failures

I just read the reports. Did Lewis blow it? Sounds like he had a comfortable podium finish.

Hamilton got an amazing launch on the restart with only 2 laps remaining but out braked himself to end up dead last after the first corner after the restart
