It is indeed !
5 star hotel, Glenlo Abbey in Galway.
I'm not a whiskey drinker really, have it in the odd coffee etc but always wanted to try the old fashioned.
It's very smooth, very nice.
Thanks for the inspiration buddy.

Nice! Woodford Reserve is very nice. I’ve only had the bourbon, though. I’ll need to try the rye. Glad you enjoyed it!

The wonder watch says it’s gin o’clock, so here we go with a nice Opihr with pink Fever Tree in a Belgian beer glass – how classy is that! I like these reusable ice cubes – not so messy and doesn’t dilute the drink!

^^^ I agree on the don’t dilute the Gin theme! :)

We have some stone “ice cubes” that work well, combined with large spherical normal ice cubes (about the size of 3 normal cubes, so take ages to melt).

No Gin this evening. Mrs nbg decided she would like a drop of Whispering Angel Rosé before tucking into the Red.

There is Rosé.
There is French Rosé.
There is Rosé from Provence.
And there is Provence Rosé by D’Esclans.

Rosé as nature intended. :)

Fabulously refreshing after several hours spent working in the garden.

I finished my Silent Pool Gin with Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic just a few minutes before seeing this thread so sorry no photos.

Glad to see the Opihr and Aromatic photos as I have a little taster bottle so will try that mix during the week.
