Back full time tomorrow. Kids return in a week…with no physical distancing, weak mask mandates, and delta surging! Jesus, take the wheel!!

I rarely drink now, but when I do I go for painfully light stuff that allows me to enjoy a drink. Since I live in Colorado, for just a little longer actually, I support the local brand of watery beer.

Ah, Coors Light. I call that old faithful. Have you ever toured the brewery in Golden? It’s a pretty good experience.

No, and honestly I don’t know where Golden is. I’ve heard the tour is cool.

I do know Jolly Ranchers come from Golden, right?

They did. Production was moved to Mexico and Canada when Hershey bought it.

Gin o’clock!

We usually try and buy a local gin when we are away.

Didn’t pick this one up until the day we were coming home. Thought I had better try it before returning to Cornwall, after the summer hordes are back at work or school!

The combination of a local product, combined with the bottle shape (a marketing master stroke!) made it hard to resist.***

Back-to-School Night tonight. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I killed it. Coming down from that high with an Old Fashioned.
