Here’s another one, nature always amazes me, how can something so little and so beautiful be so aggressive

Re: Show your pet!
I know exactly what you mean, my wife and I have been somehow acquiring them for years. We cannot go to shelters, we'd bring them all back.....
When we lost our last Shepherd (a rescue) my wife looked for another and seems they only come as a pair.... Same with cats... But a privilege to share when they bring already strong relationships. Meanwhile, grumpy old Matron presides over all with an iron fist.

My 8yo (son not pet) isn't yet into watches but has just spent 30+ mins scrolling through the pages of this thread, lots of "ahhhhhhs" and "daddy look at this one"

This was taken Xmas 2017, Callie was just about two years old then (she was rescued so we don't know her exact age):
Best regards,

Re: Show your pet!
I have incoming!!!
For some time now I've been thinking of rehoming a retired greyhound. They make gentle and tolerant pets. But I was refused on the grounds that I have mental health problems. I was very honest with the rescue centre because I always think that's the best policy, but they basically suggested that having mental health problems means that I'm too unstable and irresponsible to have a greyhound. My friend who's a dog owner even offered to write me a kind of reference, but they didn't take us up on that offer. Never even invited me out to meet me. I've never experienced stigma or discrimination before based on my history of mental health problems, so this really galled me. There was nothing I could do to change their minds.
However, an idea had been gradually forming alongside this one - what if I was to get a cockapoo puppy (known for being super friendly and intelligent), train it well, then register it as a therapet??? When I was in hospital I used to love the Thursday visits from the therapet. I understand how powerful pets can be at making you feel calm and relaxed. More than that - I'd really be able to give something back and feel like I might be of some use in the world.
So! This morning I visited a litter near Edinburgh, and had three boys to choose from. I'd like you to meet Nova - chosen because his tail never stopped wagging, and he even left his brothers playing to come over and put his paws up on my knee to say hello!
Nova will come home with me in 3-4 weeks, and the hard work (and fun!) will begin!!

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment
