I’ve added a small, but invaluable modification to my MX-5. I have yet to test it, as resetting it is a pain.

It joins some earlier additions carried over from my previous MX-5.

Like the thought, but for modern driving you need a loud speaker with "Abuse" switch as well :)

Is that a MK1 ?

   Not gonna lie, I’m actually a pretty conscientious driver. While the music is loud at speed, when the top is down, I make a point of turning the music down at lights and when driving slowly through more crowded areas. I’m not a heathen after all.

When I was 20-something I had one of those little plastic boxes with a row of coloured buttons mounted onto the dash. I can’t remember what the noises were now but I know Death Ray was one of them!

I have an idea for a phone app that involves accessing the camera and connecting via Bluetooth to a small joystick with a button. Mount the phone on the dash, mount the joystick somewhere convenient, open the app, use the joystick to position crosshairs on offending cars, then fire away! Upgrade weapons systems through in app purchases. I wish I knew how to create an app for a mobile device.

I love the nickname. It’s perfect.

I call my MX-5 Brigitte. The BRG in BRiGitte is a reference to its color, British Racing Green. It’s also because of the sexy figure and gorgeous curves of the car, much like Brigitte Bardot!

Scalextric are a safe bet. They’ve been around longer than most so should have the thing nailed.
