Tolerance of ETA 2836-2 movement

Post by widge34 »

My LE09 loses about 15 seconds a day. Is this within the tolerance of the ETA movement?

It's a bit slow, but with a new movement I recommend wearing the watch often and check again in 2 months. Wouldn't be surprised if it would run < 10sec slow by then...

Because the watch only gets 5 hours wear a day, should I need to wind the watch?

The important thing is the lubricants get distributed nicely through the movement, 5 hours a day is great, no winder needed!
