Well, after I kept saying I wasn't interested and the C2LE's not for me, guess what?

I ordered #63 (my birth year) and it arrived bright and early this morning.

It certainly is a lovely looking watch and I agree with all that's been said before, I also think it's the most comfortable bracelet that CW have produced.

I'm glad I kept logging onto the C2LE threads and you all helped talk me into taking the plunge with your possitive comments and pics. Dont think the wife will thank you all though...

I've got to go now, I'm warming up some humble pie for my lunch!!!

A neighbourly welcome from #64! Good choice. Now down to single figures - all gone by the end of the week maybe?

I didn't get one for my LE - I think because the ordering process was outside the usual automated system. Wera took payment around 11.00am one day, the watch arrived around 8.30am the next!!

Mine came today. A month and a couple of mix ups later. Worth the wait though. Will now spend too much time deciding between it and my Ebel when I go out. £1000 cheaper but honestly just as nice and as good quality.

It's arrived. What a beautiful watch, and packaged well, presented nicely in the black box. Have to get the bracelet adjusted.
Will post photos as soon as i have time.
One question from an automatic newbie. If watch stops how is wound back up? Instruction book does not say. It shows you how to adjust time and date.

Unscrew the crown until it is unwound, and then turn the crown as you normally would to wind it. You'll only need a few turns to get it started. Then just screw the crown back in.

Really? I'm an auto virgin too and thought you just gave it a gentle shake/spin/roll/whatever to set it in motion, then set the time & date, then wear it. Where's this winding the crown come from?

That's fine too - either works. As I've unscrewed the crown to set the time anyway, I usually give it a couple of winds before I set the hands, etc.

Enjoy!

Cheers,

Guy :)

I picked up mine today. Missed the postman as I was out. It is great. And I like teh fact that the SS bracelet is different from the ones supplied with the C4 and C7. It is simple but classically good looking. I will try and post some pics as well.
