Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
First off I would like to thank my former fellow moderator Joe Rattz for his contributions to this 2009 C2 Forum LE. Also to you Hans for hanging in there with us. Lest I forget... a special thanks to Tooks for working on all those mock ups.
Thanks to Chris for putting up with all our questions along the way and for building this watch for us. Nice touch I might add by having the LE manuals printed up. That shows me some real class.
Thanks as always to Saint Wera for serving as my voice to Chris when necessary and for tending to so many details. I can never imagine CWL without you.
Thank you to Fraser for all the PDFs and for making the constant changes.
Thank you too Lois for staying on top of those Swiss guys and keeping us informed.
Thank you also to each and every one of you for participating in this project. Your votes counted! After all the niggling and nitpicking the product is now arriving and aside from a couple of minor issues, most seem to be very pleased. I don't even have mine yet as it was just mailed today and I am very very excited waiting for it now that I have seen some real photos.
Hans, Joe and myself spent a lot of time to get things organized for you guys to vote on and in the end this is what you wanted. It may not be exactly what we wanted, or what any individual had envisioned, but in the final product you do have a quality piece at an extremely fair price IMO.
Keep those reviews coming.
Great job done by all!

Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
I would like to thank all those mentioned above, and yourself Kip.
I would also like to thank all the contributors to the design threads - especially those that argued strongly about removing the "forum..." wording from the dial and those that particpated in the voting polls, steering us past the open heart, red text, double indices, round blob abberations that popped up along the way. (Having said that, I think that the journey is a very important part of the process and I'm glad it happened).
I feel certain we have ended up with a very special watch - actually more than a watch but also a sense of belonging - that is worth far more than the money we paid.
It is quite amazing that a small forum such as this, allied to a relatively new company like CWL, can produce such a tremendous product.
I am proud to be a part of it.

Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
Been out of the loop for a few days (my wireless router is kaput).
I would like to add my thanks to all the others, the C2 is an excellent watch and all those involved in making it a reality should be proud. Thanks again.

Yes a big thanks to everyone from the voters to the top man himself. It really is a very special watch.
Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
Hear, hear. Thanks to all involved and I hope we get the chance to do it all again in 2010.
Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
The LE was delivered today (nr 49). It’s brilliant!! Thanks to all forum members and a special thanks for Hans & Chris who made this work. For some reason the tan alligator strap I ordered was not delivered, but the black (regular) leather one. I emailed Wera for a refund because the black strap just looks gorgeous – no need to pimp this watch further (and I need some quid for the next one, just hoping for a sales )
Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
That's odd, I asked for No.49 at the weekend. It subsequently disappeared from the 'available' list. Anyone shed any light?

Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
Last week I emailed Wera after nr 16 (which I originally ordered) was not delivered at Chris' shop. I then asked for nr 49 (which was delivered today). Apperently the orders via Wera were not 'synchronised' with the list of Hans. You probably should contact Hans.

Grrrr it looks like Wera handed out a serial# without contacting me... I've contacted Wera about this, but there is nothing more I can do....

Re: Thanks to all for the 2009 Forum LE
I came in late, joining the forum when the design was near complete. I'd like to add my thanks to all those involved.
Mine arrived today and I am a very happy bunny.
