I could say something about a recent thread where you explained why you buy old cars..........but as it's Xmas, I'll let you off

Shame you couldn't pick up your watch tho mate...........the suspense will mount over the next few days then?!! :)
I stand by what I said, AND to prove the point, the guy in the rescue van had it going in no time, but not fast enough for me to get down the post office :( :( :( . He reckons I've been over gasing it when starting it. Giving it to much choke.....chokes.....remember them :? :? :?

When I first read that, I thought you'd talked the car to death? lol

And manual chokes..........yes, a distant memory

Wera rang me on Christmas Eve to let me know that my chosen number had gone back to the factory.
I have changed my number and look forward to my C2LE before New Year.

Dom - In some ways that is good to see, Quality Control stopped you getting a product you probably would have been unhappy with. Better than what has happened to some others and certainly the lesser of the two evils eh?

Abso-bloody-lutely.

I've dealt with Wera twice now and can only agree with all the positive things that are said round here.

Wera is the best at Customer Service, hands down.

My only worry is that there seems to be a lot of "quality control" issues recently, and with the three or four of our run of 70 LE's that seems rather high...! :(

Still, hope you get yours soon Dom as it is a real beauty :D

Got home late today and had a surprise.

Number one has arrived! Upon quick inspection it looks great...better than I had hoped for.

I may have also repaired my camera, so if it works, I shall post some pics on Tuesday.
