It has a strap and hands just like a Seiko too. You thinking what I'm thinking?

The blue LD is acceptable - tho' I can understand the people who prefer the less cluttered approach.
I appreciate the classic design of the C1 but for me personally I do not like the second hand dial - as without it the face would appeal (to me) in it's clean simplicity.

Blue for sure. Remember, more is more. Subtle styling is sooo 2008. 8)

Greetings everyone. Blue text for me, but agree with just 'limited edition' on the face, no Forum 2009.

I agree with Tistvan

Though ideally, I would have liked it with nothing on the face apart from the logo and the words limited edition.

I remember the argument against a double index at 12 O'clock as it would ruin the simplicity of the C2.
For me it doesnt clutter the face half as much as all that lettering on the face.Too much, might as well add the double index and some Numbers Too.
Go with the Logo and L/E and swiss made at the bottom in my opinion.

I love the idea of an automatic version of this watch but I wonder if there's a danger of it ending up tacky. Keep it simple. Keep it clean. Same as the quartz, black text, seconds, day date, CW identifier and LE for limited edition. I wonder about the colour of the hands etc but can live with that. I want something classic and classy on my wrist. No need to spell it all out on the dial, if you know what I mean.

Simon.

So, where are all the people who like it?!

Is it just the people who don't like it who are compelled to post? :)

I presume, not having been aware of CW watches when the last Forum LE's were created, that the final design always divides opinion?

I guess there will never be a watch that everybody likes...

Personally, I don't like the blue around the day/date wheel, but then I'm reading that the overall design is not up for discussion, only the dial texts. On that basis, I'm willing to forgive it, as realistically we can't all customise the final design. That would be 'design by committee' and would take forever and there would still be people who don't get what they like.

They're just my thoughts on the matter, but in light of the above I can see why some 'executive design decisions' have had to be made by Kip/Joe etc to even make the watch happen.

I would love to have either.
I am an American. I am a Disabled Veteran. My country decided I was only worth $243 dollars a month.
I cannot have anything. My Ex-wife decided to be my caretaker. She receives my entire check to feed me.
The only thing I really need is a van. I believed in Liberty and Freedom. But without a van I am a prisoner of her house.

I have watched this Forum since it started. I have written to Chris asking for an old watch to be donated to me.
Our world it seems has turned into nothing more than trying to make money. People and their needs and wishes have somehow taken a back seat to Euros, Pounds, and Dollars...

I love the Christopher Ward watches. Almost all of them. I really am not a fan of gold. I am a stainless person.
I am not a fan of these watches only because of their looks and quality.
My name actually is Christopher Ward.

If someone gets a new one, or if everyone pitched in a little I could have a watch with my name on it.
See what you can do. Many things I can no longer do. Not being able to earn my keep is the most painful.
America has thrown a shoe at us Veterans. How do they expect me to live on $243 a month.
Sometimes feels like a punishment for not dying when I had the chance. I am just barely kept alive to watch others enjoy life. All enjoyment has been taken from me. I was promised the pursuit of happiness. Without money I can just peek in the windows of normal life.
Maybe someone can persuade Chris to make a donation. Maybe someone has an extra. I would love to have a watch with my name on it.

Thank you all so much.
