The day date option seems to be a runaway winner. It's a nice looking timepiece.

Plus it has the bonus of having a different movement for a CW.

I know this is slightly off topic and to be honest I am only thinking out loud, but would it be an idea that the LE comes on a steel bracelet, with a black and brown strap and a spingbar tool.

There are some manufacturers doing this as standard now.

There would be a cost implication as well as perhaps a packaging issue.

I've never blanked out on the day of the week, even after a heavy night of partying. Maybe some people would also appreciate a reminder of the month and year on their wrist?
To me, the day of the week on a watch is like velcro on shoes...

I've got velcro shoes on....... :D

Since when did features of a watch have to be useful? :) I'd wager most people never use the chronograph on chronograph watches, or the tachymeter, but these features all contribute to the aesthetic, and appeal, of a watch.

Love me some HE release valve action although yeah, again almost utterly pointless for 99.9% of wearers :) Don't you have to go below 300m before you "need" one?

Excellent idea Andy! Although I'm fairly sure it would add quite a bit on to the cost, this lot wouldn't fit in one of Chris' standard boxes. Worth it for me though......

What do you mean "Velco on Shoes"

That's an excellent use of Velco. No more worries about double bows coming undone!

The day is just a nice feature with I think looks pretty cool, granted, if your the sort of person who doesn't know or cant work out what day it is, then you will either have no use for a watch, be able to tell the time, wonder what the sun in the sky is for and generaly be a bit of mouth breather!

Clearly some of you have never had several months off work. You soon lose track of the day

Well now, I just changed my vote to the day/date option, in spite of my prior post making fun of needing the day.

Today is Saturday, and although I know it is Saturday, I would like to look at my wrist and be pleasantly reminded.

And when I buy the watch I'll feel better that I voted for it!
