Great minds..... :D

Here's a thought....if indeed its possible....and i'm thinking more specifically C2...how about the CW logo under the 12 o'clock, and the legend 'Christopher Ward-London-Ltd Edition' running in an arc from around about the 8 o'clock marker to the 4 o'clock marker?...just to make it a bit different?"

This watch is not for me so will be giving it a miss i,m afraid.
I have enough watches with a ETA 2824-2 at the heart.
Something different would have been nice but not to be :(

That's ok, the smaller the production run of the 09 LE, the more potential it has to retain its value if it turns out extremely nice. 8)

Shame so many have gone for the safe and predictable option, although that was to be expected I suppose.
I dont buy watches because of their value, (there are easier ways to make money) but because they have something special, something unique and I'm not sure that is the case here.
Too many ideas I read about here are about making it look like such or such a watch. Apart from a few ideas that is.
A really missed oportunity, a bit like thinking your without doubt very nice vauxhall or focus with a bit of added bling and tupperware will one day be really special..
I'll have to wait and see, surprise us Chris !

Eric

Not sure that I would say boring options just the ones that appeal to most of us. I am not looking at an investment watch but one that will be suitable for wear. It would have to be something special but again wearable to find wrist time.

The C2 auto does this for me (As would a new C6 Auto, a auto chornographer or even a chronometer grade movement or all three) and indeed would have prefered a day date model. The other options just didn't do it for me. I love my C8 but a C81 or open heart C5 just did not have it for me.

Maybe I am boring. (My kids definitely think so)

I see that this years poll got 148 votes, and although I cant find the 2008 poll just now, I seem to remember seeing it a few weeks back and from what I rememeber there was only 68 votes, so based on that will this years Forum LE be issue in greater number than 100?

I'll be interested to see how many people vote in the next round, before drawing any conclusions over how big the run will be.

I personally won't be voting. As much as Tooks has done a grand job with the mock-ups, the watch just screams average to me. I was interested when there was it was assumed that it would have a Day as well as Date, but after that dream was dashed, I switched back over to the C81. The C2, as it is now with just a date, does nothing for me really. If I were to vote, then it would be to try and make sure the open-heart version never sees the light of day :?
