That does change things for me.

Unfortunately, none of the other options really light my fire. It would be nice to have a couple of pics to see the proposals, which may sway things.

Kip thanks for the clarificaion - I missed that point in my haste to see a good auto/day date model from CW. :(

Shame the movement wouldn't fit - would have really gone for that.

Now will have to reconsider the options

First of all I want to thank Tooks as he was the one who stepped forward and gave us what little time he could. He has done an admirable job with little to go on. Thank you!

What you will see are strictly mock ups that have been done to hopefully give you some idea of where the models are headed. They are in no way complete but just to give you some sort of visual. Due to differences in a variety of things the colors are not always true either.

The C2 silver has come through as gray and not silver as planned but this will have to do for now.

Note on the C5 that the Open heart would most likely be at 12 o'clock as in the C2 not where it is currently shown.

All versions are not done as there was not enough time available to do them. These should help some.

Still no word on pricing but when it becomes available we will let you know immediately.

Once again..Thank you to Tooks for taking time out from his extremely busy schedule to help out.

THANKS TOOKS, GREAT JOB!!!

Those have me liking the C2 more than I did. Still preferring the C81 though.

Thanks Tooks.
This has confirmed to me that
(a) the C81 just doesn't look right,and just doesn't float my boat.
(b) the C5-definitely wouldn't want one especially as i've recently sold mine.
(c) the C2 version still has most promise, but the open heart doesn't suit it at all. I definitely look forward to some CAD drawings when more time is available. Of course pricing will also be imprtant as and when its is available.

Here's a thought....if indeed its possible....and i'm thinking more specifically C2...how about the CW logo under the 12 o'clock, and the legend 'Christopher Ward-London-Ltd Edition' running in an arc from around about the 8 o'clock marker to the 4 o'clock marker?...just to make it a bit different?
If you can read this you are too close to your computer screen....

Thanks Tooks. A picture paints a thousand words!

My impressions:

C2
1. The White-faced C2 looks great - very clean and subtle.
2. Forget the C2 open-heart. It is just wrong...

C8/1
1. The combination just looks wrong to me. The case looks too wide/strong compared to the delicate hands/markers.

C5 Open Heart
1. In my opinion the open heart ruins a classic watch. Bad idea!

My vote for the C2 stands!

Thanks again Tooks!

Great work Tooks!

Have to say, I think I've switched back to the C2 now! (Told you I was fickle)

I agree with Village as well. Something else added to the dial, along the lines of "ltd ed" would be great. Or even engraving the rotor with the ltd. edition number.

Cheers for the pics.

Definitely the white C2 (no open heart please!), I would like it to have a different (clean styled) steel bracelet.

C81 comes a distant second (I personally don't think the roman numerals look right on this watch)

I don't like that C5 with the open heart at all.....
Cheers,
Adam.

I still go for the C81, however it needs to have a similar polish to the C5 in the picture below and also to have a chroco style strap peferably black. That would present a much more desirable image. 8)
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).
