Would just like to add my belated thanks to Tooks for some wonderful mock-ups.

For me the C2 - White comes out on top - OK would have still prefered a day/date mechanism but understand this just won't happen.

The C81 looks better than I thought it would but agree with others that the Roman Numerals look out of place.

So think on the basis of this will stick with my vote for the C2.

Would be great now if we could just get some indicative pricing - what with a recently new baby (4 month old boy rather than yet another new watch) I will be limited to only one new watch this year and have already let the rather attractive C3 Chrono on Aligator strap offer go and considering hard what to do on the new C1 offering.

Admittedly I prefer autos over quartz but could be tempted if the LE was liklely to go out of my price range

I've voted for the c5 as one of the few people who did. The C2 reminds me of a very old Seiko which my dad owned 40 years ago, boring! The C1->C8 case can't imagine how that would look like :S
So since the C5 is a real CW icon I've voted for the special C5. But it's the less bad option of three, I expected some more fireworks!

Right its time to Discard option 3 and let the two top ones battle it out.
Wouldnt it be great if their was only a couple of % between the top 2 and each vote coming in could cause an upset.
So all those who voted for the C5 should now change their votes to the C1/8 and let battle commence.
This is only my personal opinion, but i think it is correct!

Happy Voting

Could this change mine and your Minds.?
After posting my previous wise words, I visited a site I hadn't been too for a while.
At first glance the Image of the day looked like the C2 l/e Option mocked up on page 7 here. But with the more favourable S/S bracelet. On further inspection It turned out to be a Omega Seamaster Aquaterra,With Blue hands and Indexes(spooky) it looks very nice and could influence me to change my vote back to the C2.

Quite a nice site Begginers(like me)

Steve, you bring up a good point with your comparison... if the C2LE was going to have Day / Date I think I would be there.. but just cant bring myslef to makr the change... now what this photo does tell me is that I will be very happy and excited to get either of the top two watches should they be winners!

The Aquaterra was the only image that came to mind when the specs were layed out. Hans has one which is probably where I got the mental image. It's a great looking watch but CW tends to do his own thing so it''ll be interesting to see some actual drafts.

I think the C2 LE would need something more to stand out from the stock C2 ... having seen the photo of the Aquaterra it occurs to me that it may need some outstanding hands that would contrast the otherwise sober design!

I voted for the automatic C2.

I find the C2 a curious watch! To me some combinations of strap and face make it look quite stylish whereas other are very old fashioned. Maybe it's just me...

Some would say classic - rather than old fashioned.

I have always liked the C2 but as a auto - fanatic always wanted it with a auto movement. (OK still would prefer a day date mech but understand why this cannot be done).

If its to be the C2 LE, it could be made special looking by having the CW logo and/or "Limited Editon" picked out in red on the white/silver dial. Think of those Omega Olympic limited editions. :D
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

My vote would have to go for the c2 silver face with open heart at 12 o clock
I think the watch has to stand out from the stock version and I dont think an
open heart cheapens any watch it just makes it even more interesting to look at
cheers.
