Interesting. But there is something (besides my banker) that screams "Nooooooooooooooo" when looking at a $6,000 and up price for a watch by Seiko, regardless of the mechanics.

<g> I did investigate them when I first encountered "spring drive" on the GS site. And learned the prices for the SD GS.
