Remember me...
I'm sure it's not a major problem, and may well be a temporary situation following the interim update; but I keep having to log in even though I ask the forum to 'remember me'.
There's always time for one more.

Same for me, might have to clear my Google quick link history and reinstate a bookmark to see if that clears it.Paul Drawmer wrote:I'm sure it's not a major problem, and may well be a temporary situation following the interim update; but I keep having to log in even though I ask the forum to 'remember me'.

Re: Remember me...
Same here. Hopefully not widespread, and certainly not a critical failure, but hopefully it can be rectified.

Re: Remember me...
It's happening for me as well, using mostly Chrome on WIndows and MacOS. I think I remember the same thing happened with a previous forum upgrade and the solution was to clear browser cookies and/or cached files?
I just did so let's see how that goes.

Don't know why, but it's fixed on one of my machines just now.

Re: Remember me...
Still happening to me, although it's not a big issue.
Seems to happen when I view the forum on another device eg. logged in on desktop, then view on my phone (where I was logged in) and it will prompt for my username & password and so on when I go back to the desktop, whereas prior to any changes I could be logged in on multiple devices without any login prompts.

Re: Remember me...
I'm just thankful I use a password manager otherwise I would have given up by now. I sent a PM to Kip yesterday and he says the techs are looking into it.

Re: Remember me...
With the switch to the forum now being https:// we have received the following info from the developers working on the Forum upgrade;-
..any user who was previously set to “Remember Me” or permanently logged in via Cache and Cookies, will have been forcefully logged out and need to enter their password again because the site has effectively changed location because of the http / https portion change).
...Tapatalk users may experience intermittent connection issues for upto 12 hours as their systems and each mobile handset recognises the URL change.
Possible solution for anyone still having 'remember me' issues might be to delete your Cache and Cookies. (Just a suggestion and worth a try).
