Forum Banner

Post by Saffy »

Does the Forum banner ever get changed?
Possible idea to periodically cycle through forum member contributed banners? I suspect that's easily automated.
Banners would meet what ever specification admin layout - size, image content, blurb. Free for all or members could vote for best ones to get on the cycle.

The banner is completely under the control of Hans.

Clicking on the banner to access the CWL website helps support the forum. :)

I mean the one at the top of the forum

not the advert banner (which I never noticed was there as I have trained to filter them out since the 90's) :D

Sorry...misunderstood.

Still can only be changed by Hans, but not a bad idea. :)

I agree with Saffy.
On a MINI car forum I'm on they have different photo of a MINI every couple of minutes. So maybe if the CW banner was linked into the reference gallery photos possibly ?

The Ad banner is quite annoying when I use my mobile and in a rush, it drops the page down by three ad banners after i've clicked a thread (say other brands) then the phone catches up and I end up in feedback and suggestions all the time
I miss all the great things that may never be.

I recommend tapatalk - makes the forum easier when using the phone..
