Yeah, pleasure now and potentially regret later, or loads of pleasure later and potentially regret now and later.
Oh well, there are worse things I suppose. At least it's not a quartz.

Re: Kingfisher LE update!
I have all my stuff sent there because she's always home and it's a pain when a carrier calls and leaves a card.
I work 5 and a half days a week so hardly ever home for deliveries.
Would normally be able to get it in the evening but other commitments tonight.

Re: Kingfisher LE update!
Mine has just arrived!
Pictures and a full review to be ready at http://www.outsidecontext.com by the end of next week
Basic package image:
(My iPhone camera cant do it justice).
First impressions are very favorable. I went for the leather strap and it works very well. The face is clean and very clear, a very different look for me after my Corax. The movement is smooth and the build quality looks excellent. The blue dial changes hue in different lights but it is always a rich colour, I think Chris has done another very fine job and I am very happy.
Happy Christmas all!

Bloody hell!Daz wrote:Even he struggled, somehow managing to skewer his finger with the bar spring tool. He returned the watch covered in blood.
Re: Kingfisher LE update!
Mine has arrived the same way with the strap unconnected, been trying to get it on for the last half hour but no joy.Looks like a trip to the watch repairers before i've even worn it ,not the way I would expect a £220 watch to arrive, but it does look great .Daz wrote:Mine has arrived at last. Unfortunately the rubber strap was not connected so I had to take it to the watch repairer to connect it, try as I might I couldn't do it. Even he struggled, somehow managing to skewer his finger with the bar spring tool. He returned the watch covered in blood.
I'm pleased with it, very nice.

Re: Kingfisher LE update!
That isn't very good though, is it? After all the wait and money and they can't attach a strap?

Re: Kingfisher LE update!
I agree. I assume that the priority was getting them delivered rather than fitting those very awkward rubber straps! Looks like those that ordered the steel or leather bands are OK.
