I agree, it is a bit awkward this way.. I don't know why Chris chose to set it up this way...

No it would not. So don't do that.

Are we talking about the LE here because I've had no e-mails about payment ?

Yes, I am talking about the LE. Maybe they are going in serial number order and she just hasn't gotten to you yet? This seems to have been a fairly manual email as opposed to a mass mailing.

Had my E mail today asking me to contact Margaret regarding my LE Kingfisher and mines #9 so she must be working slowly up the numbers.

This ordering process definitely seems a little backwards.
I figured I'll just use paypal, so I told Margaret and she said

"If you go onto Christopher ward web site and go onto ebay@christopherward.co.uk There is a payment site (pay pal) to put your details in"

This doesnt make any sense. How can I "go onto" an email address?
So I asked should I just use that email and send a payment from paypal.com she said "You would have to open an account on Christopher ward web site To use the pay pal."
Why do I need to go through the site? Especially when it seems these orders arent even using the site.

I also e-mailed to Margaret I want to pay with Paypal and I am not sure how to do this.
How do pay with paypal if there's no order on the website?
Normally if I want to pay with Paypal I am linked to the Paypal site and make the payment.
I am not sure how I have to make a payment "manually".

If you know the email address that Chris uses for Paypal, you should be alright.

Chris told me that he THOUGHT this was ebay@christopherward.co.uk, but when I tried that, it didn't work. I'll ask again.

cheers,
peter

Sorted... the paypal email address is ebay@christopherward.co.uk

Reason why I couldn't get it to work is because I was stupid enough to try .com rather than .co.uk. [insert sound of head banging on desk repeatedly]

It's kind of funny I wanted one of these once. You poor, poor people. :(

I like watches I can order within a day. And then receive that watch before the next ice age.

It's kind of funny how you keep repeating that. Seems as if it haunts you in your sleep.

I don't like thinking I could've potentially been wrong once.
