C63 Sealander Automatic

Post by Mike2795647 »

A few quick snaps following this mornings arrival. Personal view is that they should have gone a touch smaller, however it wears very well and will be a superb everyday watch (as intended).

Thank you for posting, great photos and congrats on your new addition. The dial and hands appear to have enough contrast to work in flat light and outdoor side light. Now my decision is a little harder, white or black!
Cheers, Mike.

What size is your wrist? If that’s not too personal a question. Had considered this but was concerned it might be too small for my 7.25” wrist

And on a Fullmosa canvas which dresses it down into a rival for my C60 Elite for lightweight daily wearer

Really lovely that is mate. The strap suits it down to the ground too!

Lovely, looks great on the canvass strap.

Great shots, thanks for the pics.

I've been thinking of getting one of these (or the GMT version) and was wondering how the contrast is under bright light? I had a C60 Black/White Mk2 and under certain conditions and angles, you couldn't tell the time because the silver batons and hands reflect the light. The C60 Mk3 and the Sealander looks like the indices are more bevelled and raised so might be clearer (your first image which shows the watch at an angle certainly looks a lot clearer than the C60 Mk2 at a similar angle).

No issue at all with my white C63 Auto in bright summer sunlight. Very legible.

I've been stalking the white 3 hander since it was released. I've been looking for a simple while 3 hand. But the GMT with the longer power reserve is so tempting. Then they go and drop the greens with those canvas straps!?

I love this and like DK19 above I’ve stalked it since release, always waiting for the blue dial as I have a silver and black dial with my Reverso. So blue made more sense.

Blue came out and I jumped on but was a tad underwhelmed if I’m honest. Couple days later I see the green, cancel the blue and order the green.

Just looking at your pics and I’m not sure that I shouldn’t just get the white to be honest. I like the green because it’s different and the dial texture is cool (never had an ombré dial before) but if I’m honest there’s nothing I like more than that white.

It really is a perfect daily watch and I think I’ve overthought this is a bit 😂 I’ll wait for the green but there’s an increasing chance I’ll be swapping for this I think.
