Definitely the same blue as other C60 Trident Mk3.

The broader hour hand sword is interesting. It reminds me of the early rendered drawings that were teased prior to the rollout of the final Mk3 design.

Congratulations on picking up this unique watch Guy, I like the running seconds feature which I can't recall seeing that on a watch before. Impressed that you managed to upload a YouTube clip of it too!

Clearly blue and orange is a colour combo that appeals to you with this, the Apex etc (it is a classic watch colourway imo).

Thank you Patrick.

Uploading the YouTube video was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I've had a watch with 'breather'running seconds before, in the guise of my C60 Trident Pro Chronograph P'type; the running seconds on that is a production feature (easily done with the Valjoux 7750 inside).

Yes, the blue and orange combination appeals but I'll stop at this and my Apex. I've kept it on the Zuludiver Veryan NATO until now, but fancy a change.

As to the movement in this C60 Elite 1000 LE Prototype, Rich (@richtel) was correct.

It has an SW290 inside with the date cutout repositioned and the date wheel printed accordingly; this was confirmed to me last night, by Adrian Buchman at CW.

Much better, I can relax and enjoy my coffee now.

Great looking watch, can’t remember seeing it in sale. You must have been quick off the mark, congrats

There's one factor in wearing my C60 Elite P'type on a NATO. It makes a tall watch even taller!

That is to say, having measured it at a substantial 17.1mm height it compares with the;-

C60 Apex (300m) - 16.4mm

C60 Elite 1000 - 15.4mm

C60 Elite 1000 GMT - 16.0mm

Clearly CW did a good job in slimming down the production models.

Amazing looking watch. Is there some form of crystal below the cutouts on the back? I wonder if the extra height is to accommodate the cutout feature?
