As I just commented in the CWotD thread, I think this is the best looking watch CW has put out in quite awhile. That rich, deep blue is stunning, and I don’t use that word lightly.

Because of the interplay of the crystal with the bezel underneath, the bezel often comes across as sapphire in many photos. And I mean that as a good thing!

Beautiful watch, Ferg.

EDITED TO ADD: And I quite like how the blue almost looks purple in some lighting scenarios.

Great pictures. Congrats! I think you mentioned you picked up the camel vintage oak strap with it as well? Can’t wait to see real life pics of that too.

Ferg, that is one of the best watch and shirt combinations I think I have ever seen. Superb, mate!

I can’t help but think the camel color will look fantastic against this blue!

I was thinking the same thing. Planned or pure coincidence? Regardless, I think it actually plays up and enhances the watch!

That looks great, Ferg. I really do enjoy a display case back. Even if the movement isn't decorated it's such a pleasure to see it, and if it is decorated so much the better.

I love the orange ring around the movement in the display. It reminds me of the similar decoration on omega movements. It's a great branding feature for CW, I think.

Fabulous shirt, Ferg.

Totally top notch watch. Excellent photos as always.

Personally, I think I'd wear it on the bracelet but your, almost default, Camel Vintage Oak looks perfect for it.

All you need for the full set of combinations will be the Orange Tiber. :D :D

Enjoy.

That’s a perfect combination, as good as I thought it would be. I also think the camel draws more attention to the shape of the case more than the bracelet does.

Cracking watch Ferg, not to mention the shirt! The best colourway of the SC I think and I prefer it on the bracelet.

A great present just in time for Christmas.

Excellent photos - congratulations on your long-awaited acquisition Ferg!
Out of curiosity, was the prototype that you originally viewed at CWHQ any different to the production model or essentially the same?
regards

Here is the photo of the prototype, I believe it was essentially a final prototype so was the same as how it entered production.
Sadly the blue Tiber strap on it did not make production. It has a different finish had orange stitching, this was a big Shame in my opinion.
Also in the photo you can see the C65 Chronograph prototype.
