Re: C7SBS-390-BB Bluebird # 0673/1912
Thank you very much for all that great info Guy !
I had a feeling about the length of the link versus the micro adjustment would be what you have found out.
I'm very happy with it now to be honest as I find after I have the watch on for a few minutes it seems to settle
Also while on holiday I've been able to adjust by one micro adjustment to suit the heat so all in all I'm happy out
Wearing it at the moment on our evening dinner in one of the best restaurants on the island as a treat to ourselves.

Re: C7SBS-390-BB Bluebird # 0673/1912
I knew I had my Bluebird awhile but I didn't realize I had it since 2014 !
Probably one of the longest surviving watches in my collection.
To freshen up the love I decided to remove and sell the bracelet strap the other day to a forum member for his C700.
I bought one of the Torro Brava straps with the blue dots as I always liked the look of these.
What sealed it for me was getting the C70 Ascari COSC recently on the same type of strap, I love the look and it's very comfortable too.
Fitted the strap this evening, very easily as it has quick release spring bars.
Looks fantastic.
I'll take some photos of it in the daylight tomorrow.

Re: C7SBS-390-BB Bluebird # 0673/1912
The battery died yesterday it seems.
Not bad for nearly four years, I'll send it back to CW for a battery as I wouldn't trust my local guy to remove the caseback without damaging it.

Nice watch and strap combo, I quite fancied one but never managed to convince myself to go for it - for me had it been flat Bluebird blue rather than metallic it would have been a no brainier but not to be now.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Re: C7SBS-390-BB Bluebird # 0673/1912
Sent my Bluebird off to CW today for a new battery.
I wouldn't chance letting my local jewellers at it for fear of him damaging the unique case back on the Bluebird.

Heard back from CW that the new battery failed during QC, it will be another week or 10 days day before it's sent back.

Blimey, 10 days to do the battery!!! They must be busy.MiniMpi wrote:Heard back from CW that the new battery failed during QC, it will be another week or 10 days day before it's sent back.
Good idea to not risk case damage though.

If it's anything like our QC at work where products get tested, put on a soak test for 72hrs, then tested once again, this may explain the delay.
If something fails post-soak, the whole process is repeated.
