C11 MSL, C5 Mk2 and W11

Post by scanny »

As requested, a few pictures of my CW's. Apologies for the poor lighting, Aberdeen isn't renowned for its glorious sunshine.

I love the C11 range, i perhaps regret not getting the Vintage Auto, but like to keep my occasional watches with quartz movement so i don't have yet more to rotate wearing.

The C5 sits on mesh beautifully, very impressed - perfect for under a shirt.

The W11 Girly number was a speculative purchase, i thought at a 38mm case it would be un auspicious enough to sit under a shirt, and on brown leather it looks good. I usually wear a 45.5mm PO so have a reasonable sized wrist, the W11 doesn't look out of place- Bargain. I'm filing down a 20mm mesh strap to fit it, it should look grand.

Not a CW, but my first Swiss watch, to blame for the affliction! Purchased to mark my first graduate job.

Nice photos of your collection.
Thanks for posting them.
As you currently have Quartz CW's, will your next CW be an automatic perhaps ?

A very nice collection you are putting together there.

I agree that the W11 will look good on a mesh bracelet.

I wanted a C11 Vintage in auto, but with three other autos its hard keeping them all wound so opted for a quart, and continued in that vein. They usually get worn on a Friday, with it being dress down and short sleeved - im fed up polishing desk marks out of metal bracelets.

The C9 does look beautiful, and formal also, it would be nice to pick one up.

I'm not usually a fan of mesh bracelets - don't like it on your C5, for instance - but this combo works well, I think. Nice look.

Thanks for sharing your collection, I would have never have considered a W11 myself, but on a mesh it seems to work.
