Re: Live Chat with Christopher Ward - May 4
Thanks for the reminder Kip- for some reason I thought today was Monday! Dratted 11 day weekend!
How does the online chat thing work? Will there be a link we click on the get into the chat room or do we click on the chat icon at the top of the page? Forgive the question- first time experience for me.
Looking forward to it.
Oh and just to confirm the time- GMT 22:00? Your first post in this thread shows GMT 21:00 and GMT+1 22:00.
'The chat will start at GMT 21:00 and will last for 1 hour.
UK time is GMT +1 = 22:00
EDT time is GMT -4 = 17:00'

Re: Live Chat with Christopher Ward - May 4
Thank you to all who participated in this evenings "Chat with Chris".
A special Thank you to Chris, as well as to Wera and Fraser for giving us so much time.
We have been let in to some exciting news involving the new ladies collection as well as some mens models. The new bracelet looks like a winner as well.
I promise to post some photos/drawings as soon as they trickle in.
Chris has also asked the forum to have a discussion regarding service centers. I will setup a new thread for that.
There will be a transcript available in the "Forum Archives" eventually. The access issue still needs to be solved as well as getting the chat transcribed. Hopefully when Hans returns from holiday next week.
For now you can view the chat by going here. It starts on page 29. Scroll down to the bottom and remember to read from bottom to top and that the pages will number from high to low.

Re: Live Chat with Christopher Ward - May 4
Kip,
Thanks for setting this up. Unfortunately I missed it, but had a fantastic first round of the season. It seems members cannot view the chat archive, so we will have to wait for the transcript.

Re: Live Chat with Christopher Ward - May 4
So sorry about that I forgot. I will work on this as quickly as I can. I just need some time.
How can a guy like me with so many watches never have enough time?

Re: Live Chat with Christopher Ward - May 4
Thought I'd miss it due to other commitments but I caught the chat half way through.
From what I caught rather than CWL getting my money now they'll be getting it towards the end of the year.
I'm thinking the new size aviator style here for certain.
...although the Trident GMT at the moment is tempting me.
Just going now to tell hide my credit card and tell the voices in my head to shut up!

We could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you.DSHall wrote:Any headlines we can savour while we wait for full transcript please?
It'll all be in the public domain soon enough, with the transcription ... but I got the impression that CW didn't want all the cats out of the bag just yet - Kip will be closer to this than anyone else.

But i think it is fair to say that there were a few surprises that maybe none of us saw coming (Kip excluded!?!?)Loddonite wrote:We could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you.DSHall wrote:Any headlines we can savour while we wait for full transcript please?

If I had known that this info was going to be "classified" and not made public immediately, I would've certainly made more of an effort to be a part of the actual chat.
Bad assumption on my part.
