Why are the C3 Malvern Chronograph's hour and minute hands laying off to the side of the case in the Christopher Ward @ The Movies article on page 5? They are just laying there to the upper left of the CW logo.

It's been bugging me for days.....

;-)

perhaps they supplied the film company a duff one - it is very odd - well spotted!

I noticed that in the mag. I figured it was either one that was a bit battered (as there were three supplied if I remember corectly) or one that was modified for the movie - albeit a rather strange modification! Would be interested to know the real answer.

At last summer's GTG Chris brought one of the watches that had been modified for use in the film - the props guys had taken out the movement, drilled a hole in the side and inserted a spool of wire (garotte) inside. I imagine the hands were not glued on too well.

How do you get hold of a hard copy of the mag? I've "signed up for newsletter" on the CW site (did that a while back).

Or do you have to request it somehow?

Great - thanks Kip, I've done so.

By the way, am I right in thinking there's no direct link from this forum back to the CW main site?????!!!!!!

Surely there is one, and I just can't see it?

Currently there is no direct link to the CWL site. We lost it with an upgrade and Hans has yet to put it back.

You can click on the CWL sale banner on the Forum home page and then click on "Home" on the CWL site.

Excellent magazine - the first time I've ever wanted to read anything electronically!! A hard copy would be good for the 'library' (the name I give the pile of watch books and mags next to the bed - or 'watch porn' as my wife calls it!)

Do hard copies get sent out to owners or do you have to request one?

Many Thanks

Got the Catalogues on Friday. Very good. While it's okay to see them on a computer monitor, you just can't beat print.
