Why????highway61 wrote:bugger!! there's a creme C8...now I'm tempted!
If that had been the black face with brown strap I'd have been all over it
Come on CWL, find a NN C8 SKK at the back of the drawer for me please
Re: New items added Sale
It's not top of my wants list, no, but it IS a nice watch at a very good price....still I will practice self control...a tricky concept ,and one I am not overly familiar with..downer wrote:You'll regret it in the morning!highway61 wrote:agreed on the alignment, it's a nice touch
going to leave that C8 until the morning and see if it's still there, , only reason being I prefer the Mk II, but £200 is a bargain....
Seriously, I think that means you don't really want it, even if it is a bargain.
My opinion: The 'off-white' Mk1 is better than the Mk2, whereas the black is vice-versa.

Re: New items added Sale
Just bought a C40 as NN. Hope it looks still new
My First watch from CW. Been looking at their watches for a while and adding to my small Omega collection.
Cant wait to see the 7750 in all its prime.
Thanks for pointing the extra items out.
Btw, there is someone selling a C8 black on ebay... its currently at 205 GBP, so the C8 for 200 quid is a bargain... would have taken it but waiting for a black MK1 with the blue numbers...

Hoorraaaayyy
Got the black C8 I was longing for.
Now who can I contact about changing the strap from black to brown? Sent an email to their customer services on the main site but wondered if I should send to anyone on particular through the forum?

Sending an email to customer services is the correct procedure.golfgeezer wrote:Hoorraaaayyy

Re: New items added Sale
I just ordered the NN silver C3 for my brother's birthday. Lovely simple watch with classic styling and he needs a quartz watch. My colleague here loves his gold C3 and I am most impressed by it - it looks very smart indeed.
If there was ever an automatic version.....
Meanwhile the C1 and D7 and assorted straps I ordered in the early hours of July 1 are apparently about to be shipped to Indonesia.
Amazingly the newly added NNs have been up for 24 hours already and none are out of stock yet..

The initial feeding frenzy is over. Plus the e-mail has not gone out yet (well I haven't seen one). Will Bogor wrote:Amazingly the newly added NNs have been up for 24 hours already and none are out of stock yet..
Best bargains are the C4's at half price on the new page and slighly under half on the NN page. Makes me think that they are getting rid of the C4's which would be a shame. I think it is a great watch which is useful as an everyday watch.
Most of the rest are 30% off but some interesting pieces like black C2's and IPK C2s. Very unusual. And there is still the winders at half price. I got one and it is very nice. Easy to fit any size watch. Optional battery power for travelling. Very quite. Quite a good deal.

Finally someone else has seen the light
I don't know why so many people have a down on these, theys are German made and ultra smooth & quiet. They were good value at £75,at £37.50 they are a steal.
Buy one, or do as I did & buy two!!
