Today we received a status-update and the latest material on the Christopher Ward Diver, named the "Kingfisher".
Roughly speaking, the pictures below are placed in order of "evolution", so the last pic is the current development status of the Kingfisher.
Basically we are talking about:
- 316L Solid Steel with a Pearl blasted finish or Corax finish
- 42mm
- Different straps: rubber, steel/rubber, mix steel
- different colors for the dials: orange/yellow/red/full lume white/black
- countdown bezel
- NDL table on caseback
- Screwed down caseback
- Screw in crown
- Sapphire crystal
- 300 Meters
And than the movement: the first Kingfishers will start with a Quartz-movement, at a later stage Kingfishers will be introduced with ETA-movements. The cause of this is mainly the problems with ETA-movement delivery, more details about that will be discussed in this thread on the forum: Swatch-group ETA discussion.
Discussion about the Kingfisher can take place over here.
