Automatic women's watches please!
Re: Automatic women's watches please!
I think I have just converted my sister to a CW watch!!
We had a look at google pictures for old CW ladies watches and all I got was that one
that one
that one
oh pink that one!!
so it looks like I will have to be looking at ebay for the sis now for ladies watches!!
unless any come up for sale here!! typical I found CW too late on

Re: Automatic women's watches please!
The W6 Splash is a 42mm diver using the same case as the C6, C60 (Kingfisher and Trident) and C600. So plenty of automatic examples in that size. The problem is the size - not the colour. Everyone had their chance to do a colouring competition on the C60 recently and showed just how conservative we are.DSHall wrote:If there isn't enough demand maybe a compromise is in order? The Splash seems to have been popular with both genders so perhaps a unisex model is the way forward? Sounds a bit 70s hairdresser, but would be nice if the ladies on here got the same chance to enjoy autos that the gentlemen do.

Re: Automatic women's watches please!
Okay, maybe some women are not au fait with automatic watches but the point is surely this - some women will buy a women's size auto, but the big additional plus for CW in offering smaller sizes is that men will also buy them. For me a 36mm watch is ideal. I have a really nice 1954 Omega of that size and it's perfect. At the risk of repeating myself ad nauseum (there, I've got English, French and Latin all in the one comment, wunderbar!) there are many of us out there who have slim wrists and little desire to sport a huge chunk of horological metal; Big does not equal best.
Re: Automatic women's watches please!
yeah not too big I have to agree with you on that one.. I know Chris has spoken in an interview of a mans wealth on his arm but I think in real terms that's not the main case with watch buyers like us.
What the heck do I need a dinner plate on my arm for !!
The C60 is just right.. any bigger and no thanks that's why I am not interested in the Beckets watch..
That Pink one is what she liked the most..
so I am on the look out for a pink one

I too like smaller watches and do not really like this fad/fashion for watches getting bigger and bigger!

Automatic women's watches please!
Anyone else think Chris will surprise and delight folk with at least some autos in the woman's range?
Also is there enough demand for a ladies or unisex forum LE?

Re: Automatic women's watches please!
I'm a little slow on my math I guess. I just realized that all 45 women's watches have been released. Sort of feeling like after presents are done on Christmas.

My little birdie tells me that their is a 50/50 chance a smaller (36mm)Trident design could be added to the ladies collection early next year......quartz and auto are a possibility.
