Picked this up in the recent sale. Bezel alignment is driving my OCD nuts, so it'll have to go back to CW Towers.
The watch is 40mm , so the circumference is around 125mm (pi x d). A 120 click bezel means each bezel click is a smidge over 1mm. That means the maximum the alignment can be out is 0.5mm. I reckon they have managed to achieve that with mine.

Re: This One Slipped Through QC
I picked up the same watch in the sale and had the same issue. I emailed CS asking if they I could procure a bezel insert so I could fix it myself and they just setup DHL for a swift return after reviewing my pictures. I just received the watch back from repair this past week and it looks and runs perfect
Re: This One Slipped Through QC
Good to know it's fixable. I wonder how? The insert is shifted along a bit?

Re: This One Slipped Through QC
Swagging it a bit but my guess might be pop the bezel off, push the insert off from behind, possibly clean the glue off and start again or simply reposition and press down.

Re: This One Slipped Through QC
In this thread you can see I took apart my C65 GMT and modified it to be a bi-directional bezel. The mechanism is very simple and I suspect that the C60 is the same design. I think that you would definitely need to re-set the bezel with contact cement. I think that there would be a high likelihood of cracking the insert when trying to remove it from the bezel ring without removing the glue first. The inserts are actually quite thin.
Here are some aftermarket ceramic inserts for a Rolex for an example.

I thought it was easy to unstick a bezel insert with nail.polish remover. Is there a reason not to do that?

Yes, you should use some sort of solvent unless they have used epoxy to put it on. An alternative to nail polish is the same stuff they use to regrip golf clubs. That works well if double sided tape is used. I'm not sure if it would work with contact cement.

Re: This One Slipped Through QC
Most bezels are attached with double sided tape. I have removed the bezel insert on my Meccaniche Veneziane GMT with the golf club grip solvent (Dynacraft Golf Grip Solvent). It came off like a dream in a few hours of the face/bezel just in the solvent. The solvent is very mild and does no damage (Acetone is a very strong solvent) it has low odour and does not evaporate. I reattached the bezel with GS Hypo Cement which allows easy positioning before it sets. Job done.

Re: This One Slipped Through QC
After receiving the watch on Monday 27th Sept, I had an email today 5th Oct to say the watch had been inspected and the bezel will be adjusted FOC.
Expected wait time 8-10 weeks. Good job I have some other watches.
