Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!
The blue GMT is beautiful. The shade of blue seems, (on the pics, anyway), to match my beautiful C65LE, which I can gaze at all day.
Of course, every silver lining has a cloud and the obvious question is when will the GMT be available on the bracelet?
When it is, even on pre-order, CW will have sold another watch.
I'm a happy bunny tonight!

No new colors for the C63 elite yet
This blue fits in with the collection, but isn't anything too exciting.

I am banking on some surprise colors in the run up to Christmas! - C63 Elite in a cream white, light grey or green would be a sure winner for me
Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
I agree, I would like to see a brighter elite. I like the blue GMT but it hasn't swayed me as I thought it would, a lack of a bracelet option is deal breaker anyway, no doubt will appear at some point.

I agree that it is quite a conservative choice ... "safe" if you will.
I wonder if the real life images will be a bit more vibrant though given what we've seen in the past?

I do like watches with blue dials, but I definitely think I made the right decision in picking the black dial version of the GMT. I’ve been wearing it pretty exclusively since I got it, I’m on holiday with it at the moment and I’m just so impressed.

Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
Looks to be a similar blue to the C65 Classic LE with a metallic shimmer.
Coupled with the gloss lacquered finish, I bet this'll look stunning when 'proper' pics start to surface.
I've got a soft spot for the aforementioned watch and I'm seriously tempted by a blue auto now.
I should probably get bitter and twisted that CW have released a similar watch to an LE (again), but I've got my selfish head on with this one.

Maybe Ferg will pick up a blue Sealander and post some proper pics for us!StrappedUp wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 8:12 am I bet this'll look stunning when 'proper' pics start to surface.
Seriously though, he always captures watches are their absolute best.

They do usually turn out different than they look on the website.
This particular website photo shows it may have some texture or sparkle. Like everyone else, I can’t wait to see some real world photos!

Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
On bracelet option is now showing on website for pre-order October. TBH I think it looks better on a strap but if I was to buy 1 then I'd buy on bracelet with 1 or 2 different straps.
Need to see the blue in real life though as I think the CW blue's tend towards the green spectrum in photos plus I would have preferred some sun-burst or similar like the blue Seiko GS quartz GMT.

Re: Blue Dial Sealander Automatic in Stock
Well, the pics of the blue Sealander GMT triggered me, so I pulled the trigger!
With the voucher and the resizing fee I'm down £810.
Apparently not due until the end of October but, hopefully, it'll turn up before then.

If I didn't know better I would say it is almost like they want me to buy another watch....
